I do not need a perfect answer to this question, so any knowledge, rough data, or even a theory would be great....
Let's say that one had an observational perch above a section of universe at roughly one million light years diameter. Our Milky Way being the center of that diameter (how Catholic Church of me). How many supernova 'flash' would one see....one per day, one per month etc.....???????????????
