Hey, run 3D Studio Max and create a sphere. Then from "Modifier list" click on "UVW Map". <br />Click on "Rendering" and open "Material editor".<br />Click on "Maps", "Diffuse color" and click None, then "Bitmap".<br />Choose in the directory "3Ds max" the folder "Maps" /> "Space" > "Mars".<br />Click on "Assign Material to Selection".<br />Click on "Rendering" /> "Render" > "Render".<br />You will see that your Mars is almost the same of Mars viewed by Hubble.
