What kind of 'space' jobs are available near term that I would have a good chance of getting with a psychology degree? It seems like most jobs are in engineering and my passion will be lost =(

How old are you, and what past work experience have you had?

Well obviously those are factors, I'm more wondering what kind of job I could work towards, rather then send an application right now. I'm only one year away from my degree and need to start thinking about these things =)

Psychologists will be needed for long term missions, like the lunar base and manned missions to Mars. You have to keep people from getting cabin fever and going caveman on each other.

One area you can get into with a psychology degree is in Human-to-System Interface (HSI), also known as human factor engineering.

It is more involved than one realizes, ranging from head-up display design to environmental life support systems. Most professionals in HSI hold advanced degrees in Psychology, Biology, Bio-Kinetics, and/or Bioengineering, etc.
