I have picked out at least 16 different areas with objects of intrest so far and that's just for starts.
I found this. Note the dark, high relief object in the center: A column?

I put on my robe and wizard hat...

These are definitely interesting. Two darker object, one that appears to be in high contrast with the surrounding terrain.

I put on my robe and wizard hat...

This, I believe, is the most interesting of all. Note the very high albedo of the object just slightly above and to the left of center, resting on that mountain range. That definitely has to be a structure!

I put on my robe and wizard hat...

Oh well, I suppose this civilization was extinct long ago. If not, it soon will be once I get done with it.

I put on my robe and wizard hat...

There are all sorts of pictures out there. Many of them can be "interesting." But, "interesting" is not proof of an alien structure. Also, as Jon has demonstrated time and time again, while there are many exciting features on Mars that can't be readily explained by an unskilled observer, one who has taken the time to learn about the many ways natural processes can create these formations has little trouble identifying them. If I were you, I would be much more interested in the areas of Mars that planetary geologists, and others, have no ready explanation for or are unsure of. These are the areas that Science is excited about. Join everyone else, hop on the Science bus and learn what makes Mars really exciting. I'll give you a hint: It doesn't have anything to do with ancient artificial structures built by an as yet unidentified species.
I put on my robe and wizard hat...

Thanks all.

I hope pierreround understands, I wasn't making fun of his posts, just trying to illustrate a point. Well, maybe a little humor was thrown in there.. but.. it's the point that matters.
I put on my robe and wizard hat...
