<font color="yellow">We need directions for the best viewing site.</font><br /><br />To avoid all of the traffic jams on US 1 and Rt. 50 and 405. Take I-95 to exit 215, which is Rt. 50 East. Get on Rt. 50 east for just a 1/4 mile or so, and turn left at the big intersection on South Street, which is Rt. 405. Most everybody else will either turn right or go straight. Go about a mile to Park ave and turn right and go about 1/2 mile until you get to Knox Mcray, turn right. Keep on Knox Mcray for 2 or 3 miles, and turn left just after you cross the railroad track, on Hopkins, it runs paralel to US1. Keep going north about 2 miles, you will pass 1 big shopping mall on your right, that's Searstown, don't turn there, but keep going until you get to the second shopping mall, which is Miracle City Mall with the J.C. Penny's. Turn into that parking lot, it's huge and never fills up on launch day. find a place to park, and walk across US 1 to the big open field on the riverside, it's as good as anywhere else, and you didn't have to pay for parking and you can get back to I-95 the same way you came, without any bad traffic.<br /><br />Enjoy the launch! <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

At Cape Canaveral, NASA just announced (quote): "The ice is disappating, i.e., melting." My friend told me that there is a big dark cloud right over the launch site. We shall see.

"Nasa commentary guy just said someone camps out overnight to make sure everything is ok and nothing gets moved."<br /><br />It is an ASP that stays in the cockpit the whole time

BTW, the reason I like fox coverage. Great launch. i noticed a couple of peices of form fall off the ET and narrowly miss the orbitor
