*pouts* I have audio only on my NASA TV feed. (I'm using one of the nasa.gov ones; don't dare switch now, 'cuz I'll never get in in time.)

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly . . . timey wimey . . . stuff." -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"

Yeah; it just started looping a short segment of audio. I haven't had picture for a while. I think their server is overloaded.

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly . . . timey wimey . . . stuff." -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"

Excellent.

I got home from work a few minutes after the de-orbit burn. Watched it on Fox News.

Well done, NASA, USA and whoever else had a hand in this flight.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. My 2 cents.
Yeah taking a shot at KSC might have worked, but they kept rule #1 in mind.

Bring the crew (and craft) home safely.

Kudos to everyone involved, and as usual a great pilot, who I know isn't called a pilot.

{please restart breathing program.....}

But the Krell forgot one thing John. Does anyone else think it's taking a long time for the convoy vehicles to appear?

Wonderful landing! They just did a fly over shot, looks like the OMS pod blanket "tuck" repair worked well, no high temp readings or obvious separation, etc.

Seems to be a lot of traffic on the road in the background, would that be a public road? Seems pretty close...

Does anyone know what the temperatures are like on the shuttle's exterior just after landing; are areas still very hot OR very cold etc?
