Heard on the news this AM that odds of acceptable weather have increased from 30 to 40%

But the Krell forgot one thing John. I heard of the scrub on radio news when I went out shopping this morning. Flame trench and Spaceflightnow both say the mission is still go but running behind schedule. It sounds to me like it depends on starting the fueling process by 12:30 EST.

They still are showing the launch as go on NASA.gov they just updated it and it says they are still go with a launch at 8:47 EST. It all depends on if the tanking takes place now, btw, if they are still going when do our astronauts strap it?

They are supposed to be suited-up and head to the pad at 5:00 so it will probably be around 5:30 when they start entering the ship.

Edit:
They have started cooling down the fuel lines so it looks like another nail-biter tonight with the weather. Thursday was a real roller coaster ride green-red-green-red LOL.

They topped off the fuel cell reactants yesterday so they can try again tomorrow. I think the H2/O2 is the only thing that needs to be serviced during the launch window but I could be wrong.

I take it the ECO sensors have been behaving normally, for once?

They should hold a contest for who can design a new ECO sensor that doesn't crap out two weeks before the launch. I bet some high school kid could make one that would work.

Wayne's weather update T-5 Hr
Just looking at current conditions, and realizing there's still 5 hours to go....
Clouds don't look bad at all. There's one solid line to the north, but at this time appears to be drifting north.
One more broken line aligned with the Cape, but that appears to be collapsing with the diminishing sunlight.
Showers are far away and don't appear to be approaching or developing nearby.
Concern is the wind, Melbourne Beach reports surface winds NE @ 13 mph.
I'm not sure what the precise wind criterea are, and don't have data yet on winds aloft; I'll poke around for that.

Weather Wayne

But the Krell forgot one thing John. NE 16 right now, no gusts.
If one of our inside guys show up, I'd be interested to know what the wind limits are that would preclude launch.
I'm searching for that info.

But the Krell forgot one thing John. Thanx, just found that myself, that's 17.2 mph, so with current wind speeds of 16 mph, it's right at the edge.

But the Krell forgot one thing John. So am I correct that such winds would not be as much of a problem is aligned with the runway?

Not much difference today, since it is a crosswind, but for future reference.

But the Krell forgot one thing John.
